Originally from Montana, my wife and I moved to Seattle after college where we spent 29 years wishing for sunshine. We have three children and eight grandchildren. In Seattle I was a builder and remodeler, and had the honor of having one of my homes featured in Sunset magazine. I have built numerous custom homes and have performed complex remodels on hundreds of projects. I also produced a series of home remodel videos, and hosted a television series on remodeling tips and techniques. In the early 90’s I phased out of building and went into financial services. I went to work for IDS Financial Services, which was subsequently acquired by American Express. In 1996, my wife and I finally moved out of the rain and into beautiful San Diego, where I finished out my career as a financial advisor.
My knowledge of construction and finance can help guide you and protect you whether you are selling or buying.
I’m into architecture and travel, while my wife is an avid art quilter and gardener. We both love food – especially Southwest cuisine. We are both professional Certified Barbeque Judges with the Kansas City Barbeque Society – we travel the Southwest and judge professional barbeque competitions.
We discovered Tucson on a visit to Rancho Vistoso back in 2004. After falling in love with the area, we couldn’t wait to visit as many times as possible. After stumbling on SaddleBrooke one weekend, we were hooked and bought our second home almost instantly. Still living in San Diego at the time, we made plans to leave, and finally made the move to Arizona in 2006.
I love this area and I’m am eager to share it with anyone who is interested – I never tire of showing off the beauty of the desert and our gorgeous mountains right in our backyard.
There are many, many areas of Tucson and each area has it’s pros and cons. Deciding where to live can be confusing – let me help you make the right decision. I’d love to show you around – just email or call me – I look forward to meeting you.
If you love food and cooking, sign up for my newsletter – indicate you are a foodie and I’ll send you a new recipe each month featuring chefs from some of Tucson’s best restaurants.
I look forward to talking with you. Happy house hunting.
I have known Kerry for over 40 years. I first used him to remodel my home which was outdated and in sore need of updating. Kerry had the vision to foresee what would make our home a true gem. He designed and finished our remodel with little or no trouble and the end result was spectacular. From that initial experience, I have used Kerry numerous times over the years, both to remodel our existing home, or to sell and buy a new home. The guy has an uncanny knack when it comes to real estate. If you are thinking of selling your current home or are looking for a new home, he is the first person I would contact.
Over the course of a few months Kerry guided us through two deals, one for the purchase of our Sun City residence and another for the sale of our Copper Creek home. Kerry made both transactions exceedingly easy for us because he did all the hard work. Diligent and patient, he arranged for us to see over a dozen houses during the search that ultimately uncovered our current home.
Kerry then sold our Copper Creek property in a less than a week, again making the process nearly effortless for us.
We are really fortunate to have met Kerry at an open house, and we highly recommend him to anyone in need of a real estate professional.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Kerry Blount. As a fellow Realtor I found Kerry to be very professional when dealing with our transaction. His responsiveness in communication and promptness in dealing with any issues were superior. I highly recommend anyone thinking about hiring a Realtor, to hire Kerry. You’ll be very glad you did.
When we happened upon an open house hosted by Kerry, he was such a gentleman, pleasant and knowledgeable about the villas. We didn’t feel any sales pressure from Kerry and he was very patient with our looking around and asking questions. We are tremendously grateful that Kerry was “the man” for us in Arizona. If we ever have an opportunity to recommend a sales person to anyone we know in the Saddlebrooke area or anywhere else in Arizona, he will be the one and only one who will get our very high praise.
